Cause it’s Monday and I couldn’t wait until “Turquoise Tuesday”😂 In the summer, I’m especially sort of a serial turquoise wearer. What’s your favorite thing to wear in those hot months?
Old Soul...finding an old cameo works magic on this jet glass choker and enjoying a vintage fix! Both will be available in the shop.
@lehoarder doesn’t seem to need a hand getting through her 40s fabulously, but just in case we’ve given her two 🖐🖐Palm Reader circus earrings are made in the USA and available at sararacouture.com Regram💗 Happy Birthday Michelle!
She flies throw the air with the greatest of ease, cutting like lighting. Our lightning earrings are a tribute to Zazel, she was the first human cannonball at age 16 in 1877! Part of the new Circus collection: read more about the inspirational performers, link in bio. Zazel was a trained in aerial acrobat and tightrope performer prior to this event. She performed many years, before missing the net during a firing and hurting her back. May her moxy inspire the gals who wear our earrings⚡️ They come in white, black, navy, pink, green, orange, yellow, gold... #madeintheusa. See stories for more pics of the earrings and Zazel.
Mood all the way! It’s been a great break in which I have been MIA, but this groovy accessories inspiration should help you forgive my absence.
Sizzling Summer in Central Park via @melissadvale in our good luck eye earrings🔥Regram.
Happy #pride via me dreaming of the Cockettes. The group was born in 1969 in a hippie commune in Haight-Ashbury. Their performances and lifestyle highlighted gender bending, gay politics, drag, and a dose of glitter glam. They became legendary in a short period, with their own celebrity following. The documentary The Cockettes, is definitely worth a look! Still shot reimagined using my eye ring. I’d like to think the jewels would fit right in to their shows🌈
NYC nights and days via @cvazzana sizzling in PJs in the city and @sararacouture circus showgirl earrings! Looking good😘 Regram Earrings online under the circus link. Go to stories to see closeups!
“I find only freedom in the realms of eccentricity”. Ditto David, one of my favorite humans, reimagined in my new palm reader earrings. Original image by Masayoshi Sukita.
Some vintage accessories have such lives. This French showgirl headdress went from the fabulous performers of its heyday to me then into the hands one of my favorite clients @lynn ban♥️and brought us luck, as it appeared on Rihanna and then on Queen B on the cover of Vogue’s September issue!
Nothing wrong with a little red and orange on a Wednesday💋🌹🔥🍒
This 1966 Horst P. Horst photo of Gloria, highlights the mesmerizing American style of designer and heiress Gloria Vanderbilt who died today at 95. She purchased a few pieces from my shop, so I can attest to her use of vintage and modern pieces in her wardrobe. I remember distinctly a unique deco enamel bracelet and sassy pink vintage woven hat. There are so many images of her wearing magnificent costume jewelry and fine of course, which I have long admired! Here’s to a long, beautiful, interesting, and sometimes complicated life. #condenastphotograhy
Complete mood and inspiration provided by this 1960s painting by Felix Labisse. Stars added from my earrings for the benefit of instagram #freethenipp
Twin Lions sounds like it should be a band, but it’s an vintage iconic necklace by Donald Stannard. He began by working with Kenneth Jay Lane in 1968- the early 70s. Then he went out on his own in 1972. He created pieces featured in Vogue and maybe most famously on Dynasty. I’ve only seen this exact piece in all turquoise, it’s more common to find the purple mixes. He’s since passed away and his big pieces don’t loose their appeal for me. Online now, offers considered. ALSO we are now an affirm seller so you can spread out your purchases per month!
Monday is draining me...getting through a day of not getting paid by bigger stores yet, lost items, and a stolen credit card order. Some days I think maybe I should give up and close up the brand. But no one endured like the queen, so here is CHER reimagined in my superstition eye rings. Vintage cover image from her greatest hits record.
☎️@georgiana boboc shows us how to style a black dress with my red phone earrings! Regram just in case you missed her clever video.
